Voices Of Digbeth

Music originally from "Mobygratis" - permission was granted to use this. In by no means, am i making any profits or for commercial use. This is solely used to help a University course assignment which was set.

This project was about exploring Digbeth based in Birmingham, on which we were to make a short animation video. The focus was on the narrative/ story telling. My group and I, then went around Digbeth, interviewing the people working there.
We then compiled the voices together which we had gathered, and turned it into a 3D pop up book animation.
The overall narrative of this animation is that Digbeth is quite a rough area and there is some buildings that needs to be repaired or re-furbished. But, we hear how Digbeth can change for the better, with the younger generations and current, through art, culture and with the whole community.
