Video description

The youth of today are born into, and conditioned by a world that believes heavily in the concept that everything should be instant, concise and efficient.

Subsequently, we are an incredibly impatient generation who constantly and desperately buy into, and imperatively require any technology that allows us to be quicker and more immediate, thus anything that takes time and care is considered inept or obsolete.
We like to refer to this concept as 'instant-culture'.
In order to create our defining portrait, we first needed a way to convey this concept of 'instant-culture' in a manner that we can all related to. We found the notion of 'button pressing' particularly fitting as a metaphor, as buttons are generally the most used input-method of modern technologies, whether physical or digitally embedded on-screen.
It also shows how we physically interact with technology to the point that it becomes almost second-nature. Technology was an answer to our impatience, and as a consequence we now have no choice to use it.
