Video description

One of the most amazing marine events occurs each year, over the Winter months, in the waters of Spencers Gulf, in South Australia. The Giant Australian Cuttlefish is the largest in the world. Males can grow to 60cm long and weight 11 kgs. Up to hundreds of thousands congregate to breed, for the one time in their lives. Males outnumber females 11 to 1. Their mating displays and competitions are amazing.
