Built every part and details referencing photos from current jet Bombardier Global Express. The airport runway and ground texture was ripped from London Heathrow airport’s Google Earth map due to its high resolution and it is perfect. Some other items and airplane models at the gate was captured from games like Microsoft Flight simulator X and Left 4 Dead.
The animation of plane taxiing was the tricky part. Have tried to set the key frames manually but the effect was not satisfying. Very hard to get the wheels movements fit with the ground. Luckily there is a 3Ds MAX plug-in called Mad Car, developed by Karba. This fantastic tool can simulate the four wheel car movement in real time, which means you will get your animation ready to render right after you played minutes of Need for Speed in your 3Ds MAX viewport. The output was perfect.
